Andreas Huber
Pacher-Hof vineyard’s wine-grower
Andreas Huber is the cellar master of Pacherhof’s vineyard. This estate has been family property since 1142 and therefore has a long family history. Andreas Huber happily grows six types of grape for white wine in his vineyard.
Huber thinks that it is best to retain the characteristics of the vine and the soil in his wines and to tamper with them as little as possible. Currently, he is converting his business to organic cultivation.
Wine expert Jens Priewe thinks…
“It is ever clearer that this vineyard has also become the leader in quality in the Eisack valley. Only very few can produce such exclusive and fine wines with such an incisive and special character and with so much substance and moderate alcohol content as father and son Huber.”
