Pacherhof’s wine-growing estate is located in Neustift, slightly higher than Brixen. The estate has been going since 1142 and is managed by the Huber Family. Cellar master Andreas Huber cultivates excellent white grape varieties on a cultivated area of 8 hectares, presses them in his own cellar and markets them himself:
Characteristics of the vine slopes
Pacherhof’s natural potential lies in its vineyards in the best locations, in its gravelly soil rich in minerals and in its special micro climates. The natural diversity and the uncompromising striving for quality by Andreas Huber, the son, form the basis for exclusive white wines full of character.
Wine production in our cellar
The Huber Family presses all wines in their own cellar. The grapes are gently pressed and carefully fermented and improved in large wood barrels and stainless steel tanks. The wines are then stored for up to ten months in wooden barrels and for a few months longer in bottles before selling.
